I was born and raised in Austin. I fell in love with photography as a child…capturing moments with real film and Polaroid cameras long before I ever held a DSLR. I have tons of memories of my beautiful city on film. A few years ago, I made the leap into digital photography, and this journey has been one of rediscovery and transformation. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of studying under renowned, published photographers Todd White and Hernan Rodriguez. They taught me how to refine my technical skills and artistic eye while not losing focus of my subject. My work is driven artistically by my subject and their emotional truth. What I see from behind the lens is more than just an image…it’s a piece of art, subjective, emotional, weighted, raw and hauntingly beautiful to me.
